Lost a diamond from my wedding ring

Just noticed one of the diamonds is missing from my wedding ring . I have only had it for about 6 months so was wondering if anyone knows where I stand with regards to whether or not the Jewellers has any responsibility to replace it? Wanted to know what my rights are before I call them!
Thanks

Not sure about rights, but you have my sympathy as I lost a stone from my eternity ring - but it was whilst I was swimming.

Would they query if you wore gloves while washing up, removed it for activities like swimming?

I had a ring that wore down quickly and got the Jewellers to re-build it several months after purchase - just claimed it was not fit for purpose. Surely a wedding ring IS designed to be worn permanently - so you MAY be able to claim as "not fit for purpose"?

Good Luck

Thanks for reply Milliways. I don't wear it in the shower or for washing up etc. Fingers crossed they will be sympathetic!
