Just read on our very own Mumsnt news that children are more likely to watch adult programmes (Eastenders etc ) than their own specialised programming (Newsround et al.).
With that in mind what do you all think about the latest marketing ploy from Cbeebies where the cast of Eastenders are reading the stories on the "bedtime hour".
Can this really be aimed at the children or is it actually a fantastically clever move to encourage telly addict parents to let their kids hear a "proper" story? Are the cast of Eastenders really that short of cash or would they just go the opening of an envelope?
