Treasure hunt there is another thread about it somewhere

Do MUD ROC face masks or hands as we did

It really calms them down and they are kind of mesmerized

Milliways · 11/07/2005 22:07

chubby bunnies?

jelly baby on flour mountain?

Sorry - they are the messy ones but great fun!

Will be back tomorrow to sort out rhymes

have one rhyme to start with that you give to the party person - this leads to the first clue - lets say in the shed

In the shed you hide the 2nd clue which leads to the apple tree for example

In the apple tree you hide the 3rd clue which leads to the next place etc etc

Write the clues on bits of paper/card - size of which depends on how hard/easy you want them to be found !

Keep going till you reach wherever you want to hide the main prize !

rolla dice and whoever rolls a six goes to the middle of the room and has to put on hat scarf, gloves and cut up a mars bar with a knfe and fork (Mars bar has to have been in freezer to make the gae last longer). meanwhile the dice is still being thrown and when soemone else throws a six they have to do the same i.e. the current person in the middles has to take of the clothing and the new person get dressed then eat the bar etc etc. the winner is the person who eats he last bit of mars bar

For my ds 9th birthday we did 'The Chocolate Game' as described by Helsi but with big bar of Cadbury's dairy milk. They also played 'mummies'. Divide into teams of 3, give each team a roll of loo paper and roll of sellotape, set the timer for 5 minutes. 2 team members wrap the other in loo roll - like an Egyptian mummy, best team's mummy after 5 mins wins the prize, they loved it.

had Bingo at our thing last sat.as a back up and we played it outside as it was glorious. All dd's friend loved it as i they play it in school with times tables.

Thank you HelleBelle, Whizz and Sorell, these are all great suggestions!! I know if I have contingency plans the sun will shine and all my worries will have been in vain.

Log shed
A little house full of wood
You'll find a clue if you are good

Apple tree
This tree has fruit that can be seen
They may be red or they may be green

Under a slide
Climb up some steps to reach the top
To find a clue here you stop

Plant pot
This holds plants so they will grow
A clue may be found here you know

Hanging basket
This holds lants up in the air
To find a clue, look with care

Gate
This can be open or can be shut
Another clue here I've put

How about those ??

ziggy4 · 13/07/2005 21:13
