We'll be the only ones not going :(

My aunt and uncle live in Poiters (sp ?) in France and have decided to get married.

They are getting married here in a registry office and having a meal afterwards.

What they don't know, is that their friends in france are going to organise a big party with marque and everything and my dad, uncles, aunts , cousins etc are all goingto surprise them. We are the only ones that can't go

Am so p**d off with us missing out of every bloody nice thing.

We can't afford it. We don't even have passports so that would be £200 to find before we even paid for travel and accomodation.

I know it can't be helped but we always seem to be the poor relatives who don't go to things cos we have no money or have kids etc etc.

it does sound a shame. how far away is it? is there no chance of time to save up for passports and spending money and eg, asking if someone can put you up? or maybe asking family if they can help you out financially?

I think it is going to be the beginning of september. As ususal my dad had forgotten all the important details.

We could probably just about manage to scrape together passport money for then but thats about it.

Can't really ask family for a loan no.

Ahhhh well will just have to get my dad to take lots of piccies.
