ok this is random. My sister is 50 next week and for her birthday she wants the family. Mum, 3 sisters and 1 brother to go into a studio for a few hours and record a cd . Hopefully it wont be quite as bad as it sounds as we do all have (ok) singing voices. We are trying to come up with some upbeat songs that would suit a group but thought i would post here for some inspiration as it's hard to remember every song ever made lol.

So, any suggestions?

I really like 'In My Life' by the Beatles. Great for a group.

How upbeat do you want to go?

DelGirl · 11/01/2010 17:18

I was just thinking about the Beatles. Will have to google that one. Thanks

DelGirl · 11/01/2010 17:25

We've been listening to the Robbie Swing When you're winning album and there are a few on there. I would love to do some committments stuff but not sure they do. Maybe we should try some Paolo Nutini lol

Have you heard of the King singers? they do re-works of some Beatles tracks for small groups. Quite good fun.

What about show songs - like from Grease for e.g.?

DelGirl · 16/01/2010 14:57

GOOD IDEA ABOUT SONGS FROM THE SHOWS, oops, will have a trawl, thanks
