clean DD1s white leather sandals? They do need polishing, but more importantly they're just plain grubby.

warm soapy water... dampen a cloth and wipe... should come up ok

Would something like cif work? or would it scratch them? seems to work on dd's white trainers.

try baby wipes

you can buy white shoe cleaner/polish in the supermarket, its a £2.00 though

Agree with the baby wipe option in the first instance. Be careful with household cleaners. Last summer a ruined a pair of DD1s white sandals with a cleaner (can?t remember which one), it changed the leather pigment to a yellowy colour in places and looked terrible.

she'll have grown out of them soon and need new ones so will there be time to clean them?!!!!!

Mum2girls · 04/07/2005 10:37

ok we cleaned them with soapy water (well DP did) and it appears they're not particularly grubby - just very scuffed. Ah well, it will be autimn soon and time for a new pair .
