How many friends do you have?????

I have suddenly realised that in 18 months most of my friends have moved away and I dont really have many friends left. How many friends do you have and are they very important to you???

10 including dh and my sister

They are of course all very important to me as family all gone.

I have about 5 very close friends that feel almost like family and then a wide circle of people I would call for a night out but not in a crisis IYSWIM.

Millions. They speak to me in soft voices when everyone else is asleep and ask me to commit unspeakables.

I have 3 lifelong friends who don't live near me as we have spread out over the years, I have 2 friends I have known for a fewv years and a few people who I socialise with through school etc but not known to long

not loads but those I do have are very close and important to me. I'm not very good at keeping friendships up to my shame so I just can't have loads and loads. I can't maintain them, I end up neglecting people

About 5 or 6 v close tell anything friends then some newish friends that I have met via school book groups and mumsnet.I have found MN friends that I have in RL became friends quite quickly and there a few of them that I think I could rely on in a crisis now .Only one of my v old friends lives near though

3 proper friends I can have a real, interesting, in depth chat with and really want in my life...a couple of others who are sort of on the edges of getting to know, but something prevents it thus far or they are something else other than friends, so can't count as proper friends.

The proper ones are all quite far away. Do chat with a few people at school and so on but would not ring them up for no reason.

Yes, they are very, very important to me.
