Wedding present?

I need some ideas for a present for DH's brother who is getting married abroad (ie no family or friends present - their choice). DH says as we've not been invited we shouldn't buy a present! I think that's a bit harsh but don't want to go overboard either as tbh I'm a bit that they've chosen not to celebrate with any of us. Any ideas on type of gift/how much to spend?!!?

What about just a token present?

Ive bought personalised calendars from get personal.com they are £ 14.99 for wedding prezzies they put there names in the sand/stars etc.

They have gone down really well.

Thanks for that I'll take a look at what they've got on that site.

I ended up getting a pewter frame from John Lewis. It's lovely - much sparklier than the photo.

Sory to hijack your thread but what do ye think would be a suitable amount for a cash gift. I have been invited to 3 weddings, 1 my brother, 1 a friend locally and another is in Sth Africa which is the only 1 I have notice of, I am going alone to all 3 weddings and am currently working reduced hrs so on a tight budget all 3 have specifically asked for cash,
