DD's tired and being a little s@*t

If she sleeps now though, she won't sleep all night.

I'm exhausted and emotional.

She's now sobbing shut behind the stairgate in her room, and I'm sobbing sat at my computer.

Its one of those days where I want the full time job and DH can deal with her.

Oh poor you! Have a breather and then sort her out!

MarsLady · 29/06/2005 17:14

Cuppa tea doll. Go make a nice cuppa tea then come back and we'll make you smile.

cat82 · 29/06/2005 17:15

hugs babe, i have those days too. Sit down and relax with a cuppa and some chocolate if you can, stick a vid or something on for dd.

It'll get better, chin up

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 17:16

Can't have tea, can't have milk

Might go and hunt out the chamomile.

To make things worse... tummy muscles hurting from hurling her in her room

Do I get her out her room, or leave her til she falls asleep and her daddy can deal with her?

Deffinatly hunt out the chamomile, or peppermint tea? (good for tummy aches and pains as well)

MarsLady · 29/06/2005 17:20

Have the tea. She's safe, she's fine!

Deep breaths, calm yourself down, drink your tea and then deal with her.

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 17:26

She's a cunning minx... started yelling poo (we had a messy incident the other night when I ignored the poo cries), so I went up to her.

She has hugged me (her version of sorry), and is now curled up on the sofa sniffing (but NOT being allowed to sleep).

I have my tea.

Starting to calm already.

See, you're feeling better already.

Now I have to collect DD1 from a playdate. Will you survive now?

Just repeat this mantra to yourself................

Step away from the child
Step away from the child.......................

ok?

Flamesparrow · 29/06/2005 17:46

Thankyou.

Feeling much better. You're safe to leave.
