CAR FINANCE FOR SAHM

Her hubby is working but does not have a licence. Does anyone know of a car finance company that will offer a SAHM a finance package?

im in the same boat so watching this with interest

I can't be sure - but I doubt they will only offer a loan to the driver. I'm sure he can take out the loan and she can be the driver. Otherwise a joint loan? However, if youare talking about leasing or something - haven't a clue.

Also, could they get a loan in his name to buy a car - they don't have to borrow from car finance companies do they? In my experience they are largely rip off merchants if it is anything but the simplest most normal arrangement.

the only place I can think of is yes car credit.... I know I know bad press and all but I have a car with them and the car has been fantastic and the payments are affordable too.

but i'd still only use them if u are desperate as the intrest is higher obviously than a normal car dealer but this was the only way I culd get a car as I had no proven income as self employed but they take tax credits and other bens in to account which is good.
