Ds has been invited to a party on Sat.
He is 6. I have never left him at a party yet (he is fecking hard work and i wouldnt give the responsibility to any one throwing a kids party)
So its 12md till 5pm.
The mother of the boy is expecting, has had a high BP and has said that she is anxious about it.

Now then, i am not comfortable leaving him for this length of time with this poor woman. he is a handful.

I will pay for myself in the place, bu would really like to stay and supervise. I suspect that the mum would be grateful for the help, but i dont want to presume.

I amy see her at school so will broach the subject, not sure how many she has invited to the party.

(Ds is not ususlaly invited to parties any way so its not a problem (all the kids say he is the naughty boy in the class etc )

Say to her that you would prefer to stay with your DS and will pay for yourself, then muck in when you get there.

I know when people offered to help me I did the "no no, I'm fine" thing, but if someone were to just announce they were staying and then help out, it would have been fabulous
