Cos I need to know if my conservatory is cooler today than it was on Thursday - to see if my blinds work......

Where are you, KatieMac? It's very similar weather to Thursday in Lancs today (sunny/clear/fresh/not too hot, perfect in fact, why am I siting indoors???) but slightly cooler.

To be more specific, I think it reached about 26 late afternoon, but the forecast high was 23/24 I think, and so is today's!

Norfolk - it was 39 in the conservatory on Thurs

Today it's only 27 inside and about 22 outside - so the roof blinds might be working

I can only tell the temp here by going in the car (and remembering to look at the display!)

It was probably hotter there than here on Thurs, being further S - I haven't found a website with recent temp records on yet though. But what time of day was it 39 in the conservatory? Check it again later on!

(I'll let you know if I find a website!)

Found a website for weather anoraks (netweather ) - in Norwich on Thurs it was "over 20" at 9am; according to the BBC weather, it was 16 at 9am today.

OTOH, same website p2, in Kings Lynn it was 28 at 11am.

HTH

It was 39 at about 2pm...it's 1.35 and it's still 27 - so depending on the temperature the blinds have lowered the temp by 10 degrees - that's very impressive

Oh good! Worth getting them then!
