Can you get new battery comparments/fittings? DS didn't play with his toy piano for a while and the batteries leaked and corroded the springs at the - terminal end. I would really like to be able to get the thing fixed, any ideas on where I could take it?

I've fixed this sort of thing in the past.
I got some cheap battery powered lights from the Poundshop and used the springs from their battery compartments to replace the corroded ones in the good toy

Don't know if you can get them repaired professionally

were they toys'r'us batteries by any chance?

I wonder if just putting a coil of wire in there to bridge the gap would do the trick...
They were Tesco batteries as it happens, grr.
