what to wear?

as my baba and DPs DD is wearing a dress, Dp is wearing pants and a smart top but me ?!? i havent got a clue

Please tell me that by "pants" you meant "trousers"

Although now can 't clear from my mind the image of a man in a nice family picture wearing a smart top and a pair of underpants. Snort!

does it have to be a "blouse and skirt/pants" look to look the part? or wear a dress (ive only got casual dresses), and ive got short skirts to my knee, ive got lots of summer tops, clubby tops......

Ideally it should be something that looks right with the rest of your family. If you were going somewhere with your DP dressed like that, what would you wear?

I'd also try to have something that links all your clothes together. Not have them all the same colour (you'd look wierd!) but maybe each has an element of the same colour or at least doesn't clash. Have fun!
