Ummm, help? (Facebook question)

I'm embarassed to have to ask, but here goes:

How do I become a fan of Mumsnet on Facebook?

I've got an account, but haven't got a clue how to use it.

Type in Mumsnet in the search box on facebook after you've signed in and go to their page. If they have a page-you can become a fan and if they are a group you can join, both I think, by clicking on a tab.

You see, I'm like Alice - I need a bottle that says "Drink Me". I don't seem to be able to work it out

I can't find something that tells me that I can become a fan by clicking on it. I clicked on something that I think lets me join, and I think I'm now waiting to be accepted, but, erm, I dunno, does that make me a fan?

I think you have probably joined then if you clicked a button to join. So you should be able to read the Mumsnet FB page and Mumsnet should be listed as a group on your home page if you click on groups over on the left.
