For this week we've got a white cloud with sunshine and temps

Mon 23
Tue 21
Wed 23
Thur 27

That's perfect for me (except 27 is getting too hot) - it's ok on holiday but not for everyday living. Had a right nightmare with ds3 last night as he was roasting and couldn't sleep (9months).

If you're weather obsessed (like me, lol) Weather.com have a little program you can download which sits in your taskbar. You tell it where you are and it produces a summary pop-up with three day forcast, radar map and comments. You can then go into extended forecasts (I like the hourly one for working out if I'm safe to put the washing out! Sad, I know. There's also a 10 day forecast) or pollen counts etc.

Well I like it, anyway

GeorginaA · 19/06/2005 17:06

Meant to say, it's completely free... (although you can pay for the super duper ad free version, but never felt the need)

nutcracker · 19/06/2005 17:07

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh i want thunder an lightening NOW

Gobbledigook · 19/06/2005 17:28

Love it GeorginaA, thanks for that! I am weather obsessed because I'm a SAHM and like to plan what I'm doing with the kids in the week - therefore need to know at least if wet or fine in terms of outdoor activities.

It's stopped now Nutty and is brightening up again. A bit cooler now but still warm - it's a lovely temp now. Last night was hell.

HappyHuggy · 19/06/2005 17:54

No rain here, still muggy and sticky

bring on the rain!!!!

KBear · 19/06/2005 17:56

SE London - hot hot hot, wispy white clouds, luvly now but unbearable earlier. The car thermometer said 34 degrees and the a/c isn't working properly!

nutcracker · 19/06/2005 18:02

Still hot here but has gone very dark

strugstu · 19/06/2005 18:06

well weve had a good down pour but not lasted very long suspect its moving south so wont be long before u get it huggy if ur in b'ham (i'm in staffs )

sparklymieow · 19/06/2005 18:06

I'm in herts and I think it hit 33c today, have stayed inside all day, too hot out there for me. I want some thunder and lighting tho, just to clear the air.

mysterygirl · 19/06/2005 18:08

the clouds are starting to build now from a northerly direction so maybe in about 20 mins?

mysterygirl · 19/06/2005 18:38

nutty have you had rain yet?

nutcracker · 19/06/2005 19:13

No still very muggy and dark but no rain, just a few feeble rolls of thunder.

basketcase · 19/06/2005 19:19

I am over in the south west - blue skies hot hot hot and very muggy. Please send your storms over in my direction. If the heaviness lifts I might start being nicer to Dh (I am a witch and a half to live with in the heat).

jjash · 19/06/2005 19:20

well in liverpool we have had hours of torrential rain and thunder - and dp , myself and two kids got caught in it .Kids were terrified and we all got soaked right through. So much for deciding to be healthy and walk to the park , ha !!
I like thunder and lightening myself but my 6 year old looked white with fear till my and dp started laughing [ mildly hysterically on my part]
Thanks for link to weathersite GeorginaA - very useful!!

mysterygirl · 19/06/2005 21:28

we got NONE! Although it does seem cooler and fresher now.

jessicasmummy · 19/06/2005 21:29

Nothing here either - although VERY nice outside at the moment. Me and DH are just finishing off the gardening.... was too hot earlier!

Ailsa · 20/06/2005 13:31

I think Kidderminster must have been the only place in the Midlands to have a thunderstorm! We went out for the afternoon and got soaked!! I told ds to take his shorts, tshirt and trainers off before getting back in the car, which he did, then he ran up and down the car park in his underpants jumping in the puddles!

QueenOfQuotes · 20/06/2005 13:33

Well lets this doesn't happen to any of you with the suddent heavy rain

GeorginaA · 20/06/2005 13:59

LOL Ailsa - think you're right - seemed to have completely bipassed Worcester although it did get cloudy and seemed to cool down a bit...
