crayon on carpet

My son has just drawn on cream carpet with bright red crayon, its pencil crayon not wax. Any ideas how to get it out?

first try a baby wipe, they even get biro off the leather sofa! or you could try brushing in a bit of bicarb with an old toothbrush or similar, then hoover it off
