Walkie Talkies - wanted !!

My husband thought that my son might like a walkie talkie set for his birthday next week - he'll be six - he has scoured John Lewis,Hamleys etc and can only find an Action Man set - can anyone suggest where I might look now ?

There are some at Woolies for under a tenner, though I have no idea what sort of quality they are?

Index and Argus both do them I think.

We bought them from Maplin

after I'd posted I found one at Argos, but it doesn't have a very long range which might be a bit frustrating - what/where is Maplin GillW ?

this site was sent to me in an advertizing e - mail and they have some fab stuff its meant to be aimed at grown men who always wanted stuf as a kid
however they do have walkie talkie watches which i have favourited cos - am gonna get some for my two boys at xmas if they still have them

my son told me argos had a spy page with those watches on? i dunno if this is right - as he was at his aunties. if so you would be able to get them quicker than ordering them over the internet - dont know how much they are though
