A little while ago I took my dd(just 3) to a lambing day and we were lucky enough to actually see a lamb born. DS (18mo) wasn't that interested but dd watched until the little lamb was a fluffy bundle. Later I asked her if she had enjoyed the day and she said the baby sheep came out of the mummy's bum(!) I agreed with this and she thought a bit and then said "Did I come out of your bum mummy?" I explained that not really there was another way out for babies etc. She looked really unimpressed and said, "I didn't come out of your bum mummy, I came out of the door to your tummy"! Of course I agreed wholeheartedly
Anyone else got any cute explanations?

I'm pregnant and my ds is convinced that the baby will hatch out of my tummy. Now I think that sounds like something out of Aliens but he's very happy with the idea.

When I was pregnant we were supposed to be going round to see some good friends and I was feeling under the weather and we didn't go. My godson (their son, then aged 2 nearly 3) asked why we weren't coming. His Dad said "Sam's got a baby in her tummy she's not feeling very well today".

He went off to his room and came back about 10 mins later looking puzzled and said "Why did Sam eat a baby?"
