Cards for Civil Ceremonies.

Had to buy a wedding card yesterday for someone at work. Usual mixture of cloying sentiment, slightly riske jokes and sparkles. And then, one or two 'Civil Ceremony' cards - a bit tame and reserved in comparison. And not much choice.

Now it would never have occurred to me that you had to special cards for Civil Ceremonies. Don't people use wedding cards for this? Or is that always totally inappropriate? Another social mindfield I never knew was there....
