Term time only jobs

There is an ad for a kitchen assistant in my local paper, term time only £5.38 an hour.

So does that mean that in all the hols I wouldn't get paid at all ??? 6 weeks would be a long time to go without money.

more than likely it's a cheap way for the company, although you might get a small retainer.

Ahh right no good then cos I would still have to pay for nursery to keep a place for ds.

you could check just to be on the safe side I just think if they've put term time they probably did it for a reason/

All jobs have to have holiday pay these days Nutcracker. TTO jobs vary in their terms and conditions and how they're paid. For instance some pay you for 44 wks of the year, 5 of which are paid hols.

Many/most TTO jobs also pay your wages in 12 equal instalments, so you get a regular amount each month.
