Dale and Nell - is it true?

Did anyone else watch the Dale and Nell wedding show? Is it a hoax or not? If anyone knows a mumsnetter does

I heard that it was conducted by a humanist minister who wasn't licencsed as a registrar, so it isn't legally binding as a marriage, but htere was an article in yesterdays papaer about how more and more women are now very happy to marry gay men becasue of the companionship and excellent taste in cordinating soft furnishings (that last bit was my own invention!)

it was done well for a joke though katierocket. Did you watch it? I thought the disco at the end was hilarious - all that money but it stiil probably ended with them saying goodbye to everyone with Cliff's Congratulations. Christina Hamilton mauling a member of Blue was kinda horrific though

I don't know, I've never been convinced he's gay anyway! The sun said after the event that they appeared to be in love so must be true!!! Did you see her becks' hair style this weekend, looked really nice.

good question willow2, although I suppose it did make good tv - but it's bizarre that all those people got involved - David Seaman at the reception, Myra Syal desperately trying to give convincing testimony and as for Tara Palmer-Tompkinson...
