"solitary" - do the rest of you really exist then??

"poor" - neoowwww - I might do some more work and earn some more money...

"nasty" - you mean nastier than a catfight about the morality of leaving one's two week old child at the nursery for a day trip to go shopping in New York?

"brutish" - definitely. mumsnet is never brutish.
