SANDS awareness week.

Thomcat has just made me remember about the SANDS awareness week.

I was sure it was this week. I ordered some wristbands and have'nt recieved them yet so am I getting my dates mixed up?

Hope I haven't upset anyone by posting this.

NBG, no you are not, the Awareness Week started on June 4th and I haven't had mine either.
Ho hum. I talk about my stillborn son whenever asked (and sometimes even when not asked) so I don't necessarily need a wristband. But I am a SANDS member and think they're a good idea, and a worthy cause.
I'd like to think it is because SANDS have been completely inundated with orders...

I have ordered a few because some women who dh works with wanted some.
It's most certainly a worthy cause.

It was Thomcats thread on DS week that got me thinking.

I got my SANDS mailing yesterday and they have been so overwhelmed with wristband orders that they have had to commission a new batch. In at the end of the week apparently.
Very good that the Awareness Week and SANDS itself has so much support
