Go on then. Use your real name or post under a fake one, I don't care.

Just name these so-called clique members.

spacecadet you can be in my clique

StMichaeltheArcAngel · 05/06/2005 12:04

if you try hard enough and long enough, the chosen godesses of mumsnet will lower themselves to speak to you.

WigWamBam · 05/06/2005 12:31

Clique suggests the exclusion of others though, rather than just a group of people who get on with each other, and I don't think that really happens. It certainly isn't something I think I do, which is why I was surprised to see my name listed as being cliquey.

hunkermunker · 05/06/2005 12:32

WWB, agree - I hope I don't do that, but if I do, what the hell, it's a faceless forum and you're all figments of my imagination anyway

OP posts:
Puff · 05/06/2005 12:37

I don't see any cliques on here, just some posters are more omnipresent than others.

huggybear · 05/06/2005 12:48

i just chat to who evers around and havent had any problem being ignored.

LGJ · 05/06/2005 12:50

I speak to every one, I am not very good at long term support like some people.

But I chat to anyone I happen to come across.

lou33 · 05/06/2005 13:01

pointless thread, imo

Is that what you mean, Cod?

R'n'B & Lou

whatsaregular · 05/06/2005 13:10

it was a nicer place though.

QueenEagle · 05/06/2005 13:17

I have to ask, as curiosity has got the better of me. Are there any threads that I am particularly rememebred for or am I one of those posters who elicits mere indifference? I'm most upset that no-one wants me in their clique.

Spacecadet - you are not allowed to answer, cos you'll just give me a load of abuse anyway!

Tortington · 05/06/2005 13:20

i remember you QE as i think your on my msn and spacecadet always says nice things about you, and i think that i should pluck up the courage and say hello one day.....soon!

i dont think there is a clique as such its just people knowing each other a while or how much u have posted so you become more recognisable as such. I post a bit but tend to stick to certain threads so i know people from those threads iykwim.

Did make an attempt to get to know more people by using msn but i tend not to start convos so that hasnt gone too well..pmsl

SleepyJess · 05/06/2005 13:28

Oh lordy..

QueenEagle · 05/06/2005 13:29

Actually I don't really believe there is a clique as such. It just happens that certain posters are drawn together as they have experienced similar things in their lives or that they just click with someone's sense of humour, a bit like me and spacecadet I'd say.

I hope you realised I was only joking with my last post, hence the . I'm actually a bit like my dearest grandma who died only last week in that she would just sit back and wathc the goings on without much input, just the occasional comment now and again. Much more fun watching others getting embroiled in it imo.

i know

funny how the word clique winds people up.

CliqueMeister · 05/06/2005 13:39

I am afraid this thread is unauthorised and will be summarily executed once the relevant forms have been counter-signed

spacecadet · 05/06/2005 14:05

sparkly, thanks!, you can be in mine too!!, QE, moi??? abusive, never!!!, custardo, you should def speak to QE cos she is lovely and i think youd get on.nemo, you dont seem to have a prob initiating convos imo.
seriously though, I dont think there is a clique, its just that some posters get to know each other quite well and many have met in rl, so you tend to feel more at ease with those people.
