Toothache · 04/06/2005 22:44

Spacecadet - Ahem.... think you'll find thats my speciality...

FERRRRRRRRRRLOUNCE< (thats a Scottish flounce by the way, for you Englanders).

collision · 04/06/2005 22:45

Come on now. Back to the question

WHO IRRITATES YOU THE MOST?

bubble99 · 04/06/2005 22:46

I have to agree that I fall into that category collision. Heck! Before I found msnet I was pregnant with twins and hanging out on an American multiples site. They used so may of those things, what are they called? Tickers, I think.... I used to end up with a headache looking at all these '22 days till our vacation' things dancing up and down. Anyway, I eventuallly found msnet after dipping my toe in twinsclub for a while. I've been through the mill over the last few months as some of you will know and at the risk of sounding shmaltzy you've been amazing and there when a lot of people in RL haven't. 2am springs to mind.

I think my main gripe of late has been that there have been a lot of new posters who maybe aren't as articulate as some (I don't include myself in that statement, my grammar is pants and I've never worked out whether I should use a : or a ; Anyway, I've sensed a lot of sniggering going on and I don't like it. I've posted about the rawest moments in my life and I haven't had any unkind comments so far. I wonder if I'd posted in a less articulate way if this would be so.

huggybear · 04/06/2005 22:47

collision

posted this earlier but just incase you missed it:

nope, not upset dont worry. just didnt want people to have a go at you for outing her iykwim.

thanks for being angry on my behalf though [smile}

morocco · 04/06/2005 22:47

I like you guys lots but what's with this thread?

strugstu · 04/06/2005 22:48

cos i'm a nice person i wouldnt want to offend any one but there is one poster who really gets up my nose- i never post on her threads cos i think she deliberately antagonises people she's been at it today, its like she throws in a comment and watches how it livens up (piercing thread was the worst)

Toothache · 04/06/2005 22:48

I get irritated that people think MN is cliquey! Thats not specific to a MN though.... is that a cop out??? Don't know so I must go email all my MN pals to make sure they post the same as me and gang up on people.

strugstu · 04/06/2005 22:48

darn....have gone and done it now

Strugstu, I threw in inflammatory comments on that piercing thread!

But I'm fairly sure people just ignored me...!

ScrewballMuppet · 04/06/2005 22:51

Now, because I have been a bit controversial in winding this thread up a bit and saying what I think without outing people, a lot of MNetters have responded to me using my name.

Interesting.

If I hadnt said what I did, no one would have 'spoken' to me.

My point is proved. Be a bit rude or outspoken and people remember you and speak to you.

Mmmmmmm.

strugstu · 04/06/2005 22:51

no wasnt u - hunker

LGJ · 04/06/2005 22:52

B99

We do what we have to for each other, you have a special place in my heart, as Mr B99 made me weep for the first time on MN.

Then there was that surreal moment where you used one of your other similar names on a light hearted thread and I tried to get "you" (another) to stop in case you (B99) were upset......

Now that got very confusing,,,,,,,,,,,,

jessicasmummy · 04/06/2005 22:53

bubble1972 and MistressMary because they are better at painting pictures that me!!!! (im only playing girlies dont be offended xxx)

spacecadet · 04/06/2005 22:53
