Does anyone do inline skating?

There's a park just round the corner from me - I see lots of people on these inline skates and was thinking about buying some, getting off my *rse and doing some exercise.

I used to roller skate as a child - is inline skating as easy to learn (not saying it's easy, but I wouldn't want it tobe harder IYSWIM)?

it's excellent exercise for your legs - I used to rollerblade a lot but not so much these days with the kids to be looked after! Back in the days when I was young and carefree. Hyde Park is a great place to blade

The park near me has a good, wide, flat round circuit to it, about half a mile in total, so a reasonable distance.

go for it! I won't let dh throw mine out even though I havne't used them for (ahem) years
