scuff free shoes???

HELP!! Has anyone found a pair of school shoes that dont scuff?
Ds started school today just for half a day. I could not believe my eyes when i collected him, he had taken the front off of both his shoes, they look awful.

ive got my ds shoes from clarks with big rubber bits round the front to stop the scuffing so bad. i always get his from there with scuff resistant bits at the front as they last him and even when he does scuff them they polish up well.ive bought them from other places before and he's taken chunks out of the front of them within a day, not just scuffs.
