Nutjob, I noticed her bump on Friday.

Nutjob · 18/05/2003 10:56

Has she made an announcement? I thought I noticed a bump today, but everytime she was about to turn sideways to reveal all, the camera angle changed!

I definitely thought so last weekend. In fact, I summoned dp to have a look so that he could agree with me (he'd left the room 'cos of ***y Storynmakers).

Moomin · 18/05/2003 12:35

oooo I wonder who's the father? Chris or Sid? Or maybe Spencer when he was visiting from Ballamory...

pie · 18/05/2003 12:39

Can you imagine having spent all those years playing Po only to have a baby who spends all those years watching the blasted thing???

The Teletubbies is gonna bite her right on the bum.

bundle · 18/05/2003 12:39

she lives in norf London, so I'll try & keep an eye out for her

Zoe · 18/05/2003 14:09

I think that Pui is the wrong sex for Chris.

Dh and I noticed Pui's very visible bump yesterday - I wonder if they'll talk about it or ignore it?

pie · 18/05/2003 14:25

Zoe...you mean Chris is a Friend of Dorothy?????

Oh hang on, he is BBC childrens presenter. Why are they so camp?

emsiewill · 18/05/2003 16:51

Yes, I noticed her bump the other day and had to verify with dd1 that it was a bump. (Dd1 - aged 6 - is an expert on these things as she spends all her time watching discovery health channel)

Moomin · 18/05/2003 19:14

I think Chris is by far the best presenter, and I love the fact that he's so queeny. My friend saw him in panto last year as Buttons and said that he made the whole show he was so good. Bless!

bea · 18/05/2003 19:30

am i the only one who has noticed that sue is .... well! really cringey!!!.. don't mind sid but sue just looks really uncomfortable when singing those awful songs in the links... plus has anyone noticed that the songs they sing are just dreadful! most of them sound like dirges!!!!. nit pick nit pick nit pick!

tamum · 18/05/2003 20:07

Oh God, yes, the songs! They are just indescribably awful, aren't they. I can't believe anyone wrote them, brought them in, and everyone said ooh yes how nice. We've got an ancient video that features Sue and Brian Cant. I thought it was really old but spookily she looks exactly the same now as she did then. What can be going on? I think we should be told.....

How can you say that about Balamory it's the most wonderful place on earth! DS and DD are convinced we are going there on holiday this year to stay with Miss Hooley (Now if anyone EVER was on strong medication that woman certainly is) especially after they both spotted the picture in the Saturday Times travel section yesterday. And have you done the Balamory Karaoke on the cbeebies website???

musica · 18/05/2003 20:38

I really want to go to Balamory on holiday! Dh really likes the painted houses. It's really Tobermory on the Isle of Mull isn't it?

Eowyn · 18/05/2003 20:47

I've only just started watching Balamory & find everyone in it really ikky/spooky/scary. DD seems to like it tho so maybe it isn't aimed at me...

WedgiesMum · 18/05/2003 20:59

Yes! really Tobermory and you can find more info at www.holidaymull.org.....

la di dah, la di dah,all together 'what's the story in Balamory....'

Dahlia · 18/05/2003 21:02

We went to Tobermory a couple of years ago, the main street with all the painted houses is very pretty but I seem to remember that was about all there was to it! But lots of nice gift shops and eating places. Have been to much lovelier places in Bonny Scotland though.

allatsea · 18/05/2003 21:04

Does anyone else think that they all look really embarassed when singing the songs..? Especially the 'Carrot Cupboard' one! The ballons last week was a bit cheesy - the more I watched the more convinced I was that I could almost see someone kicking them out of the lift

Anyone see Pui doing serious acting on that David Morrissey/John Simm thing last night (sorry, name escapes me) - I shouted dh to come and see her on it!

(Programme v. good aswell!!)

katierocket · 19/05/2003 09:28

zoe, I saw that!! it was called State of Play - wasn't it brilliant (the second episode was straight after on BBC 4 - we couldn't wait until next week so watched that aswell). But it was very odd to see Pui as a doctor.
