Child Safety Week is organised by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) and aims to highlight dangers to children in and around the home.
Scary statistic - Every day, 6,500 children aged 14 years and under end up in A&E. Have a look here for some more facts & useful tips.

and to www.capt.org.uk

Also if you are going on holiday with small children, remember to check that they can't open windows or doors by themselves. Check that window locks work. You may have to move furniture so that they can't climb to see out of a window for example.

It is frightening. I think we all think that we know it all - but maybe it doesn't hurt to be reminded from time to time

I agree! It is very important to remind ourselves of safety issues and safeguards. AT @ Law Solicitors of Charlton Kings in Cheltenham will be hosting a stand in the Regents Arcade, Cheltenham during Child Safety Week. We will be trying to highlight the excellent work of the Child Accident Prevenetion Trust (CAPT). See you there!
