Congratulations! I became a grandma at 43 when DD1 had her first baby so I can appreciate how you feel.

Sadly, I only see my DGCs several times a year as they live so far from me, but I don't really think it makes a difference how old you are, it's so rewarding and enriching to see your baby with their own babies.

I'm now looking forward to the next round of grandchildren - when my other DCs get round to it that is.
