blood on clothes

I have a t-shirt I use for the gym - my favourite one and my only one as it goes. Tonight my dog jumped on the chair, cruckled over and his whole claw came out and there was blood everywhere, including my lovely t-shirt! I have soaked it in water in the sink for now, and am washing it in the machine tomorro but do u think the blood will come out? I will be truly devestated if it doesn't!

You need to put salt on it. My ds had a nosebleed last week all over his new shirt. I left it with a load of damp salt on the stains for a while and then bunged it straight in the machine. There's not a mark on it now.

I put salt in the water that im soaking it in. I dont have money to go out and buy another gorgeous tshirt as that one!!!
