No divorces known of at all in my family - until me! heyho. Didn't get it right with ex-dp either, he has tons of divorces in his family (both parents on their third marriages)

I do think having all my family happily married has had an impact on my expectations - I kind of assumed I would just get it right like everyone else, was very disappointed with myself when I didn't.

Yep - got to the church and he didn't show up!!!

Unfortunately my dad happens to have the same first name as the bloke that stood my aunty up - and as a result despite being married for just over 30yrs, my gran to the day she died (last year) still didn't really like my dad because of it!!!

No divorces in dh's family,all 5 of his sisters are still married to the same person.On my side,one cousin & one aunt are divorced.Dh & I have been together for 11 years & married for 8.
