SoupDragon · 27/05/2005 16:49

33/44 with an average error of 158 miles. I'm still reeling from successfully getting Belarus in the right place with no help!

whymummy · 27/05/2005 16:49

ignore the ? at the end

happymerryberries · 27/05/2005 16:54

34/44 Must Try Harder!

mancmum · 27/05/2005 16:54

UK was quite tricky... but got most of them!!

Hulababy · 27/05/2005 16:57

75% - but found it really hard. Some I only got because of the shapes of the countries and the spaces remaining.

27/44 with an average error of 250 miles 61% correct and took 290 seconds

hoxtonchick · 27/05/2005 17:04

86%, 38/44. so who did know where san marino was?1

serenity · 27/05/2005 17:14

29/44 but I gave up geography when I was 14 so I wasn't surprised at that, average error was 202 miles which I thought was OK, I got everything in roughly the right place!

41 - 93% correct, average error 36 miles. Missed on Slovenia, Leichtenstein and Malta.

I knew San Marino, hc, but I've been there!

Hulababy · 27/05/2005 17:47

How did you all manage to get the really tiny ones in excactly the right spot?

OP posts:
Janh · 27/05/2005 17:48

You don't have to be exactly right hula, just close - within the range of the box they're in I think.

hoxtonchick · 27/05/2005 17:48

you are v. cultured jan! i messed up malta & lichenstein too...

Janh · 27/05/2005 17:53

Aha, just did it again, this time I got several little landlocked ones first and only scored 38 - 86%. (Also managed to misplace Portugal, whoopsie.) Average error 37 miles, 192 secs.

Janh · 27/05/2005 17:54

Good game, hula, thanks

Hulababy · 27/05/2005 17:56

Didn't realise it changed the order. Wonder if it is harder depending on which countries you get in which order then? Quite possible I think. Especially those really tiny ones - if they come first it would be much harder.

OP posts:
Gwenick · 27/05/2005 17:58

hula - that's a good point - I had several small ones right at the start - if I'd have had France, Germany, Greece, etc first it would have been much easier

Janh · 27/05/2005 18:01

Oh yes, the order does matter, very much! Hula, is this a school test? If so the order should be the same for everybody, shouldn't it, to be fair?

Hulababy · 27/05/2005 18:02

No idea. A friend sent the link to me as a challenge. Only 'cos I beat him with that crison room thing

OP posts:
Hulababy · 27/05/2005 18:03

Just looked at link again - and I think it maybe a school's resource - but not Uk based. There are other games/quizes on there too.

bossykate · 27/05/2005 19:18

82% with an av error of 49 miles.

Whizzz · 27/05/2005 19:31

29 right which is really bad !!
I got an A in my O Level Geography too !

Janh · 27/05/2005 20:35

Have another go, whizzz - the order they come in makes a big difference!
