There is a puddle of water under the engine, the bottom of the engine is all wet. Any ideas. (The AC/fan is off - AC has never worked).
Stressed about long drive coming up.

Sounds like the radiator may have sprung a leak. Car will be safe, but will overheat easily.

You'll need to get to a garage for them to look at it

Apparently if you crack a raw egg into the radiator when the car is hot, it will seal a leak.

Apparently.

surely you'll just ghave a poached egg then??? lol

Thanks.
It does smell very hot, but the indicator light doesn't rise particularly.
But like I said I usually only do a mile or so locally. I fret before driving. Luckily I have v nice garage who have checked oil for me and put new bulbs in etc.

if you worry like me, get it looked at straight away, probably a small leak but i'd panic until it was fixed
