closing paypal - how to do it.

does anyone know how to close a paypal account? I know that they charge for having it but I need to look at ways to reduce my outgoings at the moment and that seems to be an unnecessary one that I could get rid of.

they don't charge for having the account as far as i know - the payee gets charged per payment and when they withdraw money but that's it isn't it?

i thought that they charged for having it? seem to have all sorts of deductions from my account taken out and I've not used it for a while.

do you have a merchant account then?

You can probably close it just by withdrawing all the money.
