ebay - question about postage - URGENT

well not really in the scheme of things but just seen something I want and its finishing in 8 minutes

its quite a light thing but the postage is £5 (seller's standard) - if I bid and win can I ask her to weigh and confirm postage or do I assume I have to pay her a fiver however much it costs to post??

have to pay favier..u can ask if it would be cheaper 2nd class but not likely to get far.

Adding more to postage is how some people make their money on e-bay. If they state the price of the postage then unfortunatley you generally have to pay that (unless you buy more than one item from that seller and you can ask for a reduction if they post together).

I always overquote slightly to account for cost of packaging.

Cos i have spent loads on bubble wrap, brown paper and brown tape!!

Does anyone know anywhere good to buy boxes to post as i have some larger items for sale at the mo and wondering how i'm gonna post them!

i buy all my packaging stuff of ebay and get a great deal! I buy the blue bags for clothes which come with documentation slips they are a bargain! Look on ebay its cheaper than the shops here
