Hi marmar and welcome to the wondeful world of mumsnet. I'm relatively new myself - 4 months(ish) and have found this a great place for all sorts of reasons. You'll gradually get to recognise the names of the people that you spend a lot of time 'talking' to. And you'll build up a mental picture of what they look like. I, for instance, had always imagined a regular poster called hunkermunker to be a Yummy Mummy when she is in fact an eight foot trucker called Reg - with hairy feet.

Hope to talk to you soon.

WigWamBam · 21/05/2005 18:42

Wow, marmar, eight children? Someone pass that woman a medal!

Welcome to Mumsnet, look forward to chatting with you soon.
