DS has lost his GameBoy, where do I look?

Have been down the sides of the sofa, check the car, checked his room, been under the bed. Where else could it be? Running out of ideas. I'm sure it's here somewhere

School bag?

Stuck between his bed and the wall
Under/behind the sofa
Fallen down the back of the TV (found several toys behind ours recently!)
Next to the toilet
At a friends house
Schoolbag or similar
Hurled out of the window in frustration

laundry basket? maybe he was, ahem, playing with it on the toilet?

In the rubbish bin. Everything ends up in there eventually.
In the cats/dogs bed or any other animals home
In a shoe in one of the cupboards. It's amazing what you find slipping your unsuspecting foot into a shoe.

in the fridge? i found dd`s barbie there apparently she was hot!!

These are places I have found DS gameboy

Apologies in advance for what sounds like a daft question..... when did he last have it?? I often search round for something but when I just sit and think when I definitely last had the item I often find it in a jacket pocket or similar. Had the same situation with my ds recently - he was getting very upset and was starting to think that one of his mates had taken it but when we thought about it we had taken it away with us to friends for the weekend - both kids had their own backpack of toys/books - ds had put backpack into wardrobe without emptying - there was gameboy still in backpack!!

Have you looked in the car? My son is always putting his gamrboy in the glove compartment then forgetting all about it.

Safety warning - my son's gameboy case has melted quite badly. He was using it in bed before he went to sleep and left it near his reading lamp. The lamp was positioned so the hot bulb was very near the gameboy. I came in later to turn the lamp off and smelt burning.

Sorry for this aside, but I have beem meaning to post this warning to gameboy people for a while and keep forgetting to.

Let him find it himself and offer to buy him a new book of his choice to read instead...

Behind the Microwave ( had been placed on top )
School bag
Search every drawer in the house
Wendy House

Three recent finds in our house:

on a chair tucked under the tablecloth (sticker album)
behind the opened lid of the piano (keys)
in the lining of a blazer (wallet)

Hope it turns up soon - b annoying for all concerned!

The thing is he has two the new version and the old one and he didn't admit for ages that he could't find the advance. He says he last saw it on the sofa, but he's not a reliable source of information unfortunately.

It's driving me crazy as I seem to be the only one that's bothered. It's got a game in it too so that's obviously lost too. Gonna get DH to tip the sofa up now.

It was under the duvet on the bottom (unused) bunk! DS was so pleased he had tears in his eyes!

Anyone know where I put my car keys??

jasper, we lost my dh's van keys and keys to both current and new house. They were last seen (several hours before noticing them missing) in the hands of ds (2 yrs). We concluded that he had posted them out the letter box (one of his favorite activities at the time) and that someone passing had stolen them. 2 weeks after changing the house locks and putting on the alarm on the van I found them in the bottom of my spaghetti pot. I had even looked in the pot cabinet already as ds had been playing in the vicinity, but I hadn't looked deep enough. Good luck.
