lol Well its as good an answer as any. We used to say 'Up the tree picking apples' Dunno why.

Ah there used to be a joke about three boys called Apples, Manners and Mindyourownbusiness. Ball goes over the wall, Apples goes to look for it but takes ages so Manners goes to help him. Policeman comes along asks "What's your name sonny?" Boy replies "Mind your own business". Policeman says "Where are your manners?" Reply "Over the wall looking for apples"

Thought that was hilarious when I was a kid .
