Lemon syrup cake or banana bread? Shorbread biscuits? Darjeeling? Earl Grey? Tescos value teabags? Tall skinny decaf latte with cinnamon?

Please could someone arrange for my 8 month old and 2.5 yr old to start school in Sept with ds1?

I can't wait till 2008 when I can join you all!!

PuffTheMagicDragon · 19/05/2005 17:08

coffee and cake?

Sod that, I've parked my backside in my lazyboy armchair and taken out a cold budweiser from it's integral fridge.

The kids wanted to play in the garden - I said it was pouring with rain, but they insisted.

b*gger. I told DS2 an hour or so ago that we could play a particular game if he tidied up. Ha ha! I thought, he'll never do that. He's actually done it and I have to go and play the game. Bah!

snafu · 19/05/2005 18:41

I'd love to but I can't. I have a new type of washing-up liquid to try out. It's sooooo exciting.

tortoiseshell · 19/05/2005 18:42

Can I come and have a laze - I've had a really idle day today, not really done anything, just wandered round the woods, gone to gymnastics, had lunch at friends house, so we could discuss intrigues of our husbands, then, shock horror, left ds there and put dd to bed. Feeling a bit guilty cos I didn't run down to our local soup kitchen to hand out a few cups of soup while dd was sleeping, didn't even clean the house, just lazed around, till it was time for teaching. I'm feeling SO refreshed at the end of my day, think I'll reach for the chocolate cake and gin.

sunchowder · 19/05/2005 18:42

FIO you are a blinding white light daarling!

A SAHM's work is never done

snafu · 19/05/2005 18:44

Ot's called SAHM Summer Fresh. It's scented with bitterness, resentment, financial insecurity, laziness and thwarted ambition, apparently.

lima · 19/05/2005 18:45

I hear they make a nice green washing up liquid for WOTHMs - it's called ENVY

SoupDragon · 19/05/2005 18:46
