HELP!! suncream on new carpet

Pleas ehlp me; i only got my new carpet fitted on tuesday and the girls just tro on bottle of suncream, lid came off went on my carpet, i have just sponged it off with wet j cloth but as its wet still cant tell if its some out, is ther anything else i should try?

washing up liquid to dissolve the fats, then salt poured on top - then vac it up later.

so use washing liquid now while its still wet? You mean in some water so soapy water?

I mean neat washing up liquid - it will absorb the water in the lotion and froth and you can gently foam it and the stain and any fats will lift up out the pile. Then if you throw salt on it, it will be absorbed into the salt.

I find that babywipes do a brilliant job of getting things out of the carpet.
