Dd is 13 months old and she's so funny. She can't stand dh and I having a cuddle! Tonight, when dh came in from work we had a kiss and a cuddle as we always do and she screamed! Now she has always whinged a but, but this time she appeared absolutely horrified. We hugged again just to make sure and she started shouted and crying again.
So we picked her up to join in a 'group' hug and she was happy.
Anyone else come across this?

My niece at that age was so bad she wouldn't let her parents sit together on the couch, much less hold hands. She got over it when she aquired a baby brother.

That's what I am thinking - she needs a sibling!!

I had this with DD. I used to get so upset thinking she didn't want me.

My ds (14 months) does this too. Also, if we are sitting on the sofa together he likes to squeeze in between us. He also gets upset if I hug my 10-year old stepdaughter, or if she hugs dp. His little face drops and he starts crying. It's quite funny really.
