DD is learning to ride she is 6 years old. Should I get her long boots (to the knee) on ankle boots? I want them to be rubber as I don't want to have to clean and polish leather ones. I have only ever ridden horses as an adult and have knee high ones. Your thought are appreciated, thanks.

i'd get short boots and some knee high chaps. I can't ride in just ankle boots as my calves get chaffed
