Small, at home, party for 4 year old

There is a wonderful March thread on fairly large birthday parties for 4 year olds, but has anybody any suggestions for a small (6-7 kids) birthday party at home without an entertainer.

DS is 4 at the end of May and I want to do something simple. What are the best ways of entertaining a small number of 4 year olds for 2 hours?

When I was a kid all the parties were at kids home without entertainer. I think a few planned games, some lovley food and you don't need anything else, that's fine. Do a pass the parcel, musical bumps, maybe buy yourself a little face painting kit and have a go, you'll be fine. Maybe di a fancy dress party then the kids are already in the spitit of a party and it feels a bit different and they can just have fun acting out the characters they are dressed up as.

if the weathers nice, a small bouncy castle - kids will bounce for hours...if not traditional party games, fancy dress, 2 hours passes quickly if they're occupied
