Mmmmm it may just have to wear away. I won't dare say what a friend of mine ended up using on her very red faced son

Hope someone has a miracle remover for you.

baby wipes, gentle facial scrub (really gentle though).

Ulysees · 13/05/2005 19:47

Just keep bumping up and see what others say. I'll do a search for you.

No, you can't use what she used as she's a bit nuts (I used the term friend loosely )

hunkermunker · 13/05/2005 19:48

Ulysees, am intrigued. You surely have to share this - I'm thinking all sorts of things!

Aimsmum - would vaseline work or is that mental?

hercules · 13/05/2005 19:48

Your own cleanser should do it.

Ulysees · 13/05/2005 19:48

you may find something on here of use?

I'll share as soon as Aimsmum has definitley got rid of her hulkess!

hunkermunker · 13/05/2005 19:50

Come on, Aimsmum!! I want to know!

Dingle · 13/05/2005 19:51

Some paints will leave a residue, no matter what! DS has gone around for days with a slight tinge of green or orange. I find greeen , red, orange and black can be the hardest colours to get off. Have you got something like a oil based eyemake remover?

A clue, the name changed

hunkermunker · 13/05/2005 19:55

Aw, bless her! I felt like that about cheap glitter nail varnish that my mum was trying to take off one Sunday night before school the next morning. Stupid stuff! Was like having sandpaper on my nails, which was being scrubbed off with wire wool. OWWW!

nutcracker · 13/05/2005 19:56

Not Jiff ???

Ulysees · 13/05/2005 19:57

I know!!! but it's Cif now for some unknown reason?

Ulysees · 13/05/2005 19:58

hunkermunker · 13/05/2005 19:59

Bless her, at least she won't need the night light on

Michaelangelo · 13/05/2005 20:12

I used simple make up remover wipes to get face paint off DS

Rainbow · 13/05/2005 20:16

As daft as it sounds, try a little washing up liquid but mind her eyes. Works on DS2. Next time they are face painting put some barrier cream on her face first. Thats what we do (providing the child is not allergic)

Can you get hold of some cold cream? It's good for removing stage makeup so it might work for face paints.
