i'm new to mums net and am getting confused with all the short terms people are using
ie:- dd, ds, etc.

please help me to understand these.

DH is darling/dear husband (DP is partner)
FIL is father in law
MIL is mother in law
BIL is brother in law
SIL is sisterin law
DSD - darling/dear step daughter
DSS - darling/dear step son...
