Am not sure where to put this but I would really appreciate any ideas about what kind of 'projects' to do with my LO's over the summer. They are 2 and 5 and are obsessed with bugs and nature.

Does anyone have any ideas about websites/ cheap activities I can do with them? Also does anyone have/ come across a bug microscope or similar? I am reasonably crafty but very skint so all ideas are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Places like RHS gardens, National Trust all have special events for children, if you have one nearby.

Also in our area there's a country park run by the council which has sessions throughout the summer holidays where children have guided mini beasts and pond dipping trips.

Check with your local council.
