Apparently she is intending to spend less time on here because she was a bit peed off by a few things. Not however gone entirely - just laying low

Happens to us all - I disappeared without a word for a couple of weeks a month or so ago because I was peed off over something...and sparkler, nobody did notice my absence ! - note to self to be more controversial in future

hp, there are some things cod's posted that I don't much like, too, but I still think her contributions to MN have made her a 'worthy' person here. And I do miss her.

I think it's mainly the newer Mnetters that give her the stick because they don't get her IYKWIM.

There was a thread recently, I can't remember what it was about but someone jumped right in and had a go at Cod.
What Cod had said wasn't bad and anybody who has been on MN for a while would have known it was just Cod being Cod however I hadn't seen that persons name before and I just presumed they were a newbie and didn't get her.

Eeeew - let's not discuss it anymore.

I kinda like the Cod, however I do find her overly abrasive sometimes and I am not a new mumsnetter. So I can see where some of the stick comes from, although I hasten to add that I do not condone it. On the whole she's a good egg, and I'd like to see her continue posting.

But lets not talk about that aspect of it, otherwise it will turn into a what are the merits of Cod and what aren't debate...

Meant to say - it's safe territory to discuss where is the fish and let her know she is missed if she is lurking, but perhaps unsafe territory to discuss the reasons why she might not be around so much?
