DP says using something to get rid of limescale will sort it out - or is it just knackered??

is it filling properly?

I think those limescale things advertised on tv - calgon? - have to be put in on every wash.
Try running the machine empty at highest temperature (with no detergent) to see if that shifts any blockages.

washing with soda crystals (52p/kilo in Tesco) can really help shift limescale. Follow the instrux on the pack.

thanks guys will have to give it a go and see if i can fix it. It was a reconditioned one when we bought it so could be anything i suppose!

have you checked the filter - when ours gets bunged up it doesn't wash well

does it still get hot if you put it on a boil wash? if not it could be the element, and is washing cold
